The cannabis industry is booming and it’s no wonder why. Marijuana has been legalized in many states, including Arizona, where Origyn Extracts recently launched a new product line-up.
Origyn Extracts, a company that produces cannabis extracts, has opened up a new location in Phoenix, Arizona. The new facility will be able to produce more than 100,000 pounds of extract per year.
The Origyn Extracts premium concentrates line has been launched in Arizona by Ayr Wellness Inc., a premier vertically integrated cannabis multi-state business. Origyn will be the first of Ayr’s national brands to enter the Arizona market.
Origyn is now accessible in Arizona, and it is only offered at Ayr’s three Oasis Cannabis marijuana shops.
Six strain-specific High Terpene Extracts (“HTE”) cartridges will be offered initially, including Garlotti HTE, LA Star Killer HTE, Cookie Glue HTE, Chery Tang HTE, California Orange HTE, and Jungle Juice HTE.
“Origyn’s expansion into Arizona is a critical step in that process. We are incredibly excited to introduce the state’s consumers to our Origyn Extracts, which truly celebrate the plant and all that it has to offer,” said Jonathan Sandelman, CEO of Ayr. “Arizona has a dynamic market and high demand for quality concentrates and extracts, and we are incredibly excited to introduce the state’s consumers to our Origyn Extracts, which truly celebrate the plant and all that it has to offer,” said Jonathan Sandelman, CEO of Ayr
According to the BDSA, Origyn Extracts was first introduced in Massachusetts in October 2020 and is currently the state’s top concentrate brand, having a 22 percent market share in concentrates. In May 2021, the company released Origyn Extracts in Florida. Later this year, Ayr intends to implement Origyn throughout its entire operating footprint, including Nevada and Pennsylvania.
Wholesale operations are anticipated to start in about a month.
